A new group of businesses from across Burnley town centre has been formed to drive forward the development of the Burnley town centre BID project. All key sectors are represented including retail, independents, leisure, professional services, night time economy along with important partners Burnley Council and Lancashire Constabulary. The group has met twice in April and has already begun drafting a vision for the BID and developing ideas around the projects and services that a BID can deliver. The group will be producing a draft plan for a BID during May, which will be shared with business throughout the town centre in June for comment and feedback.
