Burnley BID owns and operates a website and social media outlets under the Discover Burnley brand and we work with a PR company to promote the town centre.

Therefore, your business can benefit from Marketing & PR support to help you gain exposure online and in the media.

Since the start of the BID, our news has featured frequently in local and regional publications, leaflet drops, newsletters and paid for advertising viewed by thousands of people.

Whether you want to spread news of an offer, event or job vacancy, the Burnley BID can promote this for you to reach people across the Borough and beyond.

Event Promotion

Burnley BID host a What’s On guide that promotes events across Burnley and is the go to resource for events taking place in the borough.

Our Burnley BID members can benefit from a range of free training courses which are delivered at regular intervals throughout the year. Some of our most popular and regular courses include:

Level 2 Award in Principles of Manual Handling

Tuesday 23rd April 2024, 9:00am – 1:00pm at The Landmark

Level 3 Mental Health First Aid in the Workplace (2 day course)

Tuesday 14th & Wednesday 15th May 2024, 9:00am – 4:45pm at The Landmark

Level 3 Emergency First Aid in the Workplace (1 day course)

Monday 24th June 2024 or Tuesday 15th October 2024, 9:00am – 4:45pm at The Landmark

Fire Marshal Training

Thursday 12th September 2024, 9:30am – 12:30pm or 1:00pm – 4:00pm at The Landmark

The BID also offers online accredited training courses in a range of subjects including Allergen Awareness and Health & Hygiene in Catering.
